I'M NOT MATT DAMON
In 2008, frustrated by an uncanny resemblance to Matt Damon, and the “in-neutral” state of his career, Jim wrote, directed, and starred in his directorial debut short film, I'm Not Matt Damon, a witty, action-comedy, about his time spent in Los Angeles, trying to procure work, while looking like an already famous star.

The film received the Special Jury Prize at the 2009 Las Vegas International Film Festival and the IndieFilmmaker Award at the 2009 Los Angeles International Short Film Festival, an award created especially for him to recognize the film; and was an official selection at several other film festivals including the San Diego Film Festival, the Burbank International Film Festival, the Miami Short Film Festival, the Bel-Air Film Festival, and NewFilmmakers Los Angeles. The film currently has 2 distribution deals through IndieFlix and Shorts International and has secured TV rights in Europe, Turkey, and the United States.
