Edward O. Owens is Chief Executive Officer of The Owens Companies. Mr. Owens has more than 50 years of leadership and operational experience. He oversees the company’s long-term business strategy. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a diversified service company specializing in transportation and logistics, distribution, storage and warehousing, waste management, and commercial real estate investment. Mr. Owens serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and previously served on the Governance and Diversity Committee. Previously, he served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Northeastern University, Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts, Museum of Fine Arts, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, Cambridge Boy Scouts, New England Minority Purchasing Council, The Rotary Club of Cambridge, Cambridge YMCA, and was an advisory board member of Liberty Mutual. Mr. Owens earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Northeastern University.

Mr. Owens has more than 18 years of experience in accounting and finance related roles. Mr. Owens serves as a member of the Board of Directors of East Cambridge Savings Bank and serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation, an independent quasi-public agency that works with various local organizations to provide debt financing for small businesses. Mr. Owens began his career at Deloitte as a senior auditor. He has held senior corporate accounting roles at LogMein and TripAdvisor. Mr. Owens is a certified public accountant and notary of public in Massachusetts. He holds a master’s in accounting and bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University.

Sarah Owens is Executive Vice President, Chief Corporate Affair. In this role, Sarah oversees public policy and government affairs, communications, and charitable giving. Sarah earned a bachelors from Northeastern University and master’s in education from Simmons College. John Glynn, Esq., CPA, General Counsel & Chief Accounting Officer John Glynn joined The Owens Companies in 1980. Previously, John spent over 20 years at various organizations. John holds a bachelor’s and law degree from Boston College. John is a certified public accountant and attorney in the state of Massachusetts.

Ella Owens joined The Owens Companies in 2021. Ella leads the Corporate Affairs and Communications team and is responsible for Roku’s corporate brand strategy, all global and enterprise communications, media relations and engagements, issues management, government affairs, and public relations. Ella holds a bachelor’s and master's degrees from Northeastern University.

Manny Rodrigues joined The Owens Companies in 1980. Manny is responsible for all operations of the business, including generating new business and maintaining existing customer relationships; allocating movers, trucks, and materials to successfully complete scheduled moves; Managing warehouse operations and inventory management; ensures facility operational compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to solid waste disposal and recycling.
