How do I prepare for installation?

Accepted Answer

Please make sure our installation team has a place to park and access to your home. Please also ensure that the area where they will be installing is clean, empty and ready for installation. All pets should be safely secured to ensure their comfort and safety.

What materials do you use in manufacturing and constructing organizing products?

Most of our products are made with compressed particle board.  This is very beneficial in Hawaii as wood boring pests that are so common here do not like the wood/glue mixture.  Plywood veneers are available upon request.

What is the warranty on your products?

We warrant all of our products to be free of defects in manufacturing or installation for one year.

I live in a wet area, how durable are your products?

We have installed both particle board and plywood products in high humidity environments. Both have shown to be equally durable, as long as the product is not exposed to standing water.

Our designers will be happy to help you decide upon the best design for your closet. Options include wall hung or floor based sections, addition of an island, multiple heights for clothes rods, drawers and shelves. All are customized to your unique needs.

What are the advantages of wall-hung units verse floor-based units?

Accepted Answer

Wall hung units are less expensive for a couple of reasons. We use less materials and pass the savings onto you, and your closet  is less likely to need base trim to hide a not level or plumb floor. Floor based closets are just beautiful and give your project a truly wonderful look.

Can I add lighting to my new closet? What are lighting options?

We can add lighting as long as there is power available. Please look at our accessory sections or talk with one of our designers for more information.

What kind of accessories do you sell with your closets?

We sell many different accessories to make your closet uniquely yours. Please see our accessory page for hampers, valet rods, and many other options.

For my new closet, do I have to have all those holes in the upright panels?

It has to do with your material's boring. We have materials and processes that can mitigate the amount of holes in your panels.

What types of wall beds do you sell?

Do wall beds come with a mattress or should I plan to get my own?

Accepted Answer

We quote all of our wall beds with a mattress included. If you want to use your own, you will need to ensure it is 9 inches or less and has inner springs. Memory foam mattresses are not recommended.

Can I add side-cabinets and drawers to my wall bed?

Absolutely!  This is one of the best ways to enhance your entire room! We sell a lot of side-cabinets that have great storage for guests' clothing and other items.

I heard there is maintenance to having a wall bed. How do I maintain it?

Accepted Answer

Your wall bed should be mostly maintenance free. The only wear part on the bed are the springs.  Eventually they will rust and break. Our service engineers are trained to replace them and keep your bed in top condition!
