Our events are in a class of their own! Unlike traditional matchmaking where you spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars for a single date at a time (which could be VERY awkward if they don’t end up being a match!), our mini-dates (at 20 minutes in length) give you much more time than a traditional speed dating event (typically, 7 minutes dates), but without the awkwardness and pressure of one long, singular date on your own. Not to mention at a FRACTION of the cost! In today’s swipe-happy online dating world, you literally have a catalog of people at your fingertips. Unfortunately, many people dismiss potential partners based on looks alone. At our events, we will NOT match you based on physical appearance preferences (we WILL however, match you based on health and lifestyle preferences) as we want you to keep an open mind while searching for a match and get to know people for who they are instead of what they look like.

You will have six, 20 minute ‘mini-dates’ with potential matches hand-picked by our staff based on your questionnaire answers. Our questionnaires are VERY detailed, and we feel confident that your matches will be quality!

After the six mini-dates, we will have a one hour ‘mingling’ portion of the event where you can mingle with whomever you want! You may want to chat more with a date you had earlier, or you may see someone you weren’t matched with but would like to get to know. The choice is yours! If you DO find your own additional ‘match’ at the mingling event, there will be a space on your date card to write that person down as an additional ‘match.’ If they also write your name down, you will be given one another’s contact information from staff in an email after the event.

We have events for those ages 21-49ish , and separate events for those 50ish +! Please see our calendar to sign up for your appropriate age slot.

There will not be food available at the events, but there will be beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) available for purchase.

No. The fact is, they cannot catch everything and are costly and often unreliable.

If two people both mark ‘YES’ to being interested in one another, our staff will email you within 3 days with your match’s contact information.

We ask you to relinquish your phone upon entrance to the event and it will be returned to you at the end of the evening. We want our participants to be fully present during the event without the distraction of a phone. However, if you need your phone in case of emergency (for instance, you have a babysitter and need to see if they call for emergencies, etc), we ask that you let staff know upon entering and that you do NOT use your phone unless there is an actual emergency.

No. Current Vessel clients cannot attend these events due to ethical reasons. However, once you terminate therapy, you will be eligible.

After you have a mutual match and are given contact information, the rest is in your hands! We wish you every success in your matches and would love to hear how it goes!

We are only matching heterosexual men and women as anything else would be best served as an entirely new event type dedicated to those in the LGBTQ+ community.

Honestly, at first you may not be physically attracted to them. However, with the right compatibility, physical attraction can and usually does grow! Give it a chance, and give it time

We desire to make these events special for you, which is why we are having them at upscale venues. Who doesn’t like an excuse to get a lil’ gussied up!? While you certainly may wear whatever you wish, our suggestion is ‘casual cocktail’ attire. For inspiration, plug ‘casual cocktail attire’ into Pinterest or google images.

No worries. We get it. While we DO want you to focus on inward characteristics, we understand physical attraction plays a role in things. That’s partially why we are including the ‘mingling’ portion of the event, where the final hour of the evening you may choose to mingle more with a match you had, or you may choose to approach someone new! You WILL have a chance to ‘make your own match’ during this portion of the evening.

Yes! Your safety is a foremost concern for us. We will have security at the event. They will be wearing a ‘security’ shirt for easy recognition. While we doubt they will be needed, having that peace of mind is important.

Yes! Anyone with a violent crime or sex offense history will be excluded from events. Also, if you are on probation or under restraining orders of any kid, you will also be excluded from events.

No. You must wait until a divorce is finalized in order to come to an event. Only legally single/widowed/divorced persons are invited to events.

Yes!(Please be aware, no childcare is provided at events). We have questions on our questionnaire that address this, and whether people are willing to date those with children.

No. Our events/memberships are not transferrable to others. However, if you are unable to attend the event you are invited to, you may attend another event in the future instead.
