Elder Law Attorney

Lisa Neeley is an experienced elder law attorney and partner at Rubin and Rudman LLP. Lisa handles all types of elder law and long-term care planning matters, and has extensive experience litigating Medicaid appeals in the state Superior and Appellate Courts.  In addition to her elder law work, Lisa also handles special needs and estate planning matters, probate and trust administration, and guardianship and conservatorship proceedings.

 

Lisa has received many awards and recognition for her work.  In 2021, Lisa was selected as one of the Lawyers of the Year by Massachusetts Lawyer's Weekly for her advocacy before the Supreme Judicial Court in the cases of Guilfoil v. Sudders and Fournier v. Secretary of the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.  Lisa has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in the field of elder law every year since 2018.  In 2022, she was named a Top Elder Law Attorney by Boston Magazine.

 

Lisa has been quoted in NPR, the Boston Globe, the Washington Post, Law 360, and Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.  She is frequently invited to speak at local bar associations on long-term care and elder law planning.  She is a fellow with the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

 

Lisa takes a holistic and personal approach in seeking to resolve the unique long-term care planning challenges presented to her by her clients.  Lisa is available to clients remotely via zoom or telephone conference, in her office located in Westborough, and in Rubin and Rudman's downtown Boston office.

 

Lisa lives in Central Massachusetts with her husband, their two daughters, and her golden retriever.  When Lisa is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family skiing and boating in New Hampshire.
