Elder Law Paralegal

Amy L. McIntyre is a Paralegal in Rubin and Rudman’s Trusts and Estates Department and a member of the Elder Law practice group. She concentrates in the asset restructuring process and the MassHealth qualification of elders seeking community based and long-term care benefits, as well as trust and estate administration matters.


Amy is a 3 rd year part-time law student at Western New England University Law School. She serves on Law Review and has received multiple recognition awards including three CALI Awards and Best Legal Brief Runner-Up. Amy has also been honored on the Dean’s list for academic years 2020-2021, and 2021-2022.


Amy is a member of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and Central Massachusetts Paralegal Association. Amy served as the vice-president of Central Massachusetts Paralegal Association from 2018-2020.


Prior to joining Rubin and Rudman, Amy was a Sr. Elder Law Paralegal at Mirick O’Connell where she also concentrated on Medicaid qualification and probate administration for over 11 years. Before her career with Mirick O’Connell, Amy was the director of real estate and title services, paralegal, and office manager for Senie & Associates, P.C. where she concentrated on land use and zoning matters, title work, and real estate closings.


Amy has received her Master’s Degree from Worcester State University in managerial leadership in 2013, and her Bachelor’s and Associate’s Degrees from Becker College in legal studies, graduating magna cum laude in 2006.
